7 Simple Ways to Display your Free Prints without a Frame!

Printed images don’t always need to be in frames in order to be displayed. If you are taking the time to document precious memories, don’t those memories deserve to be seen in places other than your phone? Why not take the opportunity to collect and display free prints without a frame! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think you should constantly clutter your space with images. Rather, I ask that you choose images that spark joy and display them in observable places! Side note: keep your eyes peeled for a future blog post on ‘action steps you can do to choose meaningful images.’

If you are like me, you will often get notifications for free prints from companies on the internet. Why not take advantage of these deals and develop your pics?! A few examples of companies that advertise free prints include Shutterfly, Artifact Uprising, and Parabo Press.  My personal favorite company to follow and get free prints from is Artifact Uprising! I love Artifact Uprising’s brand, products, environmental care, and the fact that they’re local to Denver!

Alright, without further ado, here are 7 simple ways to display your free prints without a frame:

1. Planner Cover Page

For those of you who use a paper planner, daily journal, or notebook, paste one of your free prints on the cover!

2. Fridge Corner

Most people put lots of stickers, magnets, and children’s pictures on their fridges. My suggestion is to clear everything off but the essentials. Then, organize your items bu moving them to a specific spot/corner. Adhere your free prints on top of your cheap magnets (you know, the ones with some rando’s logo on them).

3. Workplace Swag

Display your work-appropriate family images at your job: tape one to the edge of your monitor, paste one on top of your laptop, place a couple in the front cover of a binder, or display one above your light switch!

4. Bookmark

Forget earmarking pages! Whether you read one book at a time or multiple, free prints are a fun way to save your page.

5. Gift Packaging

Throughout the year, you are bound to gift someone something. During times of free-print promotions, be sure to plan for birthdays, baby showers, and weddings! Then, attach a free print to the gift as a unique gift-tag or card.

6. Mudroom Signage

Kiddos are SO visual. If you are trying to establish your very own “a place for everything and everything in its place” routine then display child-specific and activity-specific pictures above cubbies and organizational bins.

7. In your Plants

Plant lovers unite! If your plants and pictures are battling for shelf space, then fear no more! Plant branches and leaves prop-up photos quite well. 🙂

There you have it: 7 simple ways to display your free prints without a frame! Just remember when these images have served their purpose in your home, be sure to give them a new life! For example, repurpose as a postcard or send out as different variations of your Christmas card. Side note: Keep your eyes peeled for a future blog post on ‘ways to give your photos a new life.’
