Seven Bridges Engagement Session | Sam + Libby
Let me introduce you to Sam and Libby: frisbee-loving and kind-souled humans with hearts for service! In November, Sam and Libby will tie the knot at Libby’s home church in Muskego Wisconsin! Recently, on a beautiful spring evening, we met up to document their love during this Seven Bridges engagement session.
Sam and Libby both work in college ministry and met during intensive training in 2017. During this time, they were able to collaborate with one another, hang out in their large group, and get to know each other. At the end of training, Sam asked Libby on a date! Even though they knew that the relationship would be long-distance, they continued to see each other, plan phone call date nights, and drive across the midwest during school breaks to hang out in person.
When it came time for the proposal, it was actually Libby who surprised Sam with a visit during her Spring Break week. However, little did she know that Sam had purchased the ring 6 months prior while on a trip to Ireland. It was perfect! After Libby got into town, Sam worked his magic to quickly and secretly come up with a plan to propose THAT night!! After chatting, they decided to go out to dinner and then head to church for evening prayers. This was not out of the ordinary for Libby, therefore she suspected nothing! Upon arrival at the church, Sam walked Libby to the beautiful and candle-lit altar to pop the question!
I am so excited to photograph these two and help celebrate their special day at the Cotton Exchange come November. 🙂
