Newborn Portrait Session | Camden James

Let me introduce you to Camden James…the newest member of the Schiel family! He was welcomed into the world on February 15th. Weighing in at 7lb 8oz, this babe is pure cuteness and a perfect combination of mom and dad. Simply put, I loved hanging out with this family and capturing Cam’s new-ness during this newborn portrait session with Grace Creatives Photography.

Lacey and Michael met a little over 10 years ago at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and married in 2016. For a little over three years, they proudly called Colorado home then made the move back to WI last fall. Although these guys are Wisconsinites through and through, they absolutely loved their time in Colorado! Since Cam’s first months of growth were out west, it was only fitting to take some photos with him in a CO state flag onesie from Patches and Puppies.

They didn’t know Camden’s sex before he was born. Therefore, when deciding to register for the baby items they chose to incorporate items that matched their love of the mountains and being outside…cue a baby with adventure definitely in his future.

All in all, I had a wonderful time documenting Camden, his parents, and doodle siblings.
