After months of knowing we wanted to meet-up and snap some pictures together, Grace Creatives finally had the opportunity to capture the Dahlkes last month! I documented their sweet family and dog during this family portrait session.

I love Jen and Ian’s love story, the way they live life, and how they interact with and engage their son (who might I add is an extremely smart and intuitive two-year old). All of these reasons are why I thoroughly enjoyed bringing my camera out to document an adventure to the park.

Even though Ian was in an opposite time zone (he literally had just come home from Korea), and the weather was a bit on the chilly side, we were able to walk to their neighborhood park! I loved watching them run around and play games.

All in all, I had a great time with the Dahlke family! I am so excited to follow along with their story as they continue to grow, explore new surroundings, and teach Audie how to love others and the world around him.
