Dog-friendly Engagement Session | Cammie + Eric

Can you include your doggos in your engagement session with Grace Creatives? Yes! Although dogs aren’t allowed at Retzer Nature center, Cammie and Eric knew that they wanted to invite their dog, Leroy, along for the last bit of their dog-friendly engagement session. The images of this sweet family of three walking on the public land adjacent from their home are some of my favorite from their session with Grace Creatives!

One of Grace Creatives’ primary photography style is photojournalism. This means that I love documenting you and your person doing natural, true-to-self actions and activities. Therefore, if you have a dog (or any pet) and are interested him/her in your engagement photos, then here are a few tips:

  • Bring lots of treats

  • Coordinate with your outfits and get a bandana or leash that matches

  • Think about some of the things you like to do with your dog and let’s plan a location that allows for that! For example if you like going for hikes, visiting a local dog park, hanging out at a local dog-friendly brewery or chilling at home then let’s plan to do one of those things during your session!

  • Can your pup handle carrying a ring box or sitting next to a sign? These are details Grace Creatives would be happy to document!

Grace Creatives is excited to document Cammie and Eric’s wedding at Fete of Wales next May and see Mr. Leroy again with his parents.
