The Covenant at Murray Mansion Fall Wedding | Brandon + Carly
Carly and Brandon were married this past fall at the Covenant at Murray Mansion in Racine! Let’s just say that autumn in Wisconsin was showing off that Saturday and their wedding just magnified its beauty! From the full yellow foliage to the pops of orange in their flowers, October 22nd, 2022 could not have been more memorable!
Their proposal story is one of my favorites! A few months before May 8th 2021, Brandon reached out to a newspaper writer in Waukesha and asked him to be an accomplice in his grand plan…making Carly believe she was a main character in a news article. Well the reporter agreed and used his position at the Freeman to further validate the plan. The reporter pitched the idea to the couple and said he wanted to do a story on COVID and two dating volleyball coaches. Carly fell for it! The reporter sent over questions and asked the two of them to meet him on May 8th to take some photos. During the photoshoot, Brandon snuck behind Carly and got down on his knee. When Carly turned around to see what he was up to, he proposed! The article “Couples bond strengthens during pandemic” was framed for their big day and on display for everyone to see.
Some of my personal favorite moments from their big day include Brandon’s funny banter, Carly’s endless giggles, seeing them ride around in their 100-year-old Model A car, and witnessing the special dance grandpa had with all the ladies in his family. Thank you so much, Carly and Brandon, for allowing me to capture your gorgeous wedding celebration, family, and friends! <3
